Packaging Advice

Your photos are valuable and we would therefore suggest that you take the following to avoid any additional damage to them while in transit:
  • Please send the photos in a secure package, preferably in a board-backed envelope or, if they can be rolled, in a cardboard tube. If you send them in a standard envelope, please fold some cardboard or similar material around them to prevent them from being folded or creased.
  • We suggest that you send them to us either by Recorded Post or Special Delivery. Although more expensive, these methods do provide more security and allow the Post Office to track packages.
  • Make sure you include your contact e-mail address, and all the necessary details of the work you require, so that we can contact you as normal when the work is complete. We will also e-mail you to let you know we have received your photos.
  • If your photo is in a frame and cannot be easily removed, please pack it securely in a jiffy bag or similar. If the glass is cracked or broken, please ensure that there are no loose pieces that might damage the photo or the packaging.
